Spent a birthday weekend there with friends and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place was immaculate and much larger than we were expecting. The owners are lovely and incredibly helpful and clearly care about their guests enjoying their stay. 10/10 would return and stay if/ when back in the Lake District!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in the middle of town. Equipped with absolutely everything you need....including coffee maker...important!! No parking but cheap carpark a few minutes walk away. Super big, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Everything is immaculately clean. Easy to access. Lovely touch of a Christmas tree and chocs and little bottle of fizz. Will definitely return when visiting Carlisle. Host went out their way to try help when we had to change dates and also when I forgot something.

Loved everything about my stay, Kerry made contact from start to finish. The flat was home from home and the bed was so comfy .Dalston village has everything you need and the train station was a short walk away. Will definitely stay again 😊

The staff was nice. Julie and her husband both were very warm and friendly. Breakfast was also amazing. Home made by Julie. And she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We loved our stay and the hosts. Also, it's a place where it values to get to know other people, in a friednly way. We heard stories from other people staying in the place and that made our day start pleasantly. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

    Perfect location for us, close to Carlisle for visiting family but also on the edge of the Lake District. Lovely flat with everything you need on your doorstep including a small supermarket, fish & chip shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. Some nice walks nearby too, including one into Carlisle along the river. Kerry is a fantastic host.
