I've never visited Retford before, however I'm very glad I did, especially after staying at the Elms. A warm welcome greeted me at reception, I was then shown to my lovely room which was located in buildings adjacent to the hotel. This was well laid out, clean and with a very comfy bed, as well as being far enough away so as not to be disturbed by the footfall from the hotel restaurant, which I can also highly recommend after having dinner there with guests. Breakfast was plentiful and great value for money too. Overall a great stay made even more so by genuinely friendly staff.

    Staff Were Amazingly accommodating as we arrived for our overnight stay just in time last food Orders. the Currys were Excellent. Good Sized CarPark Lovely Old building Nicely done out. Full English Breakfast Was great. This was used as Our Mild Hogs Motorcycle Tour stop over in the Middle ish of the Country, FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY!! all 5 of us would happily return with family or if we were doing more trips past this way.

    The view was beautiful the bottom room e stayed I'm shouldn't be a family room at All there was me and my partner and we had a child the people above us was so noisy walking round all night and early hours to charge over 60 pound to stay away was not great if anything the up stairs should have been family room.maybe we got.no sleep and was booked for a day out next day such a shame room was a let down .

    I occasionally stay over for work and need to book with online sites to make affordable. Staff kindly accommodated staying in main building, which is my strong preference. Excellent Indian attached, which is a nice treat in a busy work week
