We stayed at the Royal Oak for 4 nights while visiting family. Steve could not do enough for us, always checking in with us that everything was to our liking and offering advice on things to do in the area. The pub had a cozy, real British pub feel to it. The room was large and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Would highly recommend it, and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Steve 🙂

Nice comfortable apartment in a converted outbuilding in lovely area. We booked this on price and location as we were over for a wedding 2 miles up the road. The wedding venue would have been a reasonable option for a double room but we are a family of 4 and for a bigger room they wanted close to triple the price we paid for cosy cloud and still would have been a much smaller room than we enjoyed at this property. We have never stayed on the grounds of a main property before always opting for hotels and my wife was slightly nervous - she needn't have been. This experience was great, would highly recommend. Key pick up and instructions were very clear with great communication throughout. We were left contact details for the owner incase we needed anything but other than that we didn't even bump into them and were left to our own devices which for us is a big positive. Thanks for having us.

Sunbird Cottage offered a relaxing bank holiday long weekend break for my family. Modern accommodation and kitchen facilities. Lovely interior decor, very good cleaniness, good wifi, and smart tv with streaming options. Large outdoor space overlooking the scenic moors. Dog friendly with a lot of secure space for the dog to run around. Within easy driving distance to Biddulph town centre and local supermarkets.
