Fabulous location on the river and very close to the cathedral and centre facilities. Fabulous hosts. George greeted us at breakfast and kept us entertained with stories and information about our accomodation, and about Ely. Breakfast was served at a leisurely pace and prepared with much care and attention to detail. We could almost have stayed all morning eating. Our accomodation was warm, homely, quiet, and incredibly spacious.

    It was actually my 2nd stay at Village Retreat and did specifically choose it. Littleport is actually mh hometown so is perfect as a base for me to see family and friends. I know that some would also choose it if they have visitors coming. So quiet and central to the village is definitely a selling point but honestly can't find a fault.

    The host was amazing and the apartment was perfect for myself and my Dad, we used it for somewhere to sleep and shower whilst visiting family, but I would have happily spent a week there, close to local amenities and walking distance to the river and town centre, absolutely lovely and modern annex and perfect for what we needed.

    Friendly host and flat was furnished to a high standard. Accommodated for our baby by providing a cot and high chair. Also provided a welcome pack. Lots of storage and kitchen was equipped with all the bits you need to prepare meals (unlike other venues we have visited).
