The Guest House was beautiful, rooms and common areas were immaculate and very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic (particularly the Woodlyn Hearty!) and catered for all the family. Beds were so comfortable. My 10 year old daughter claims it was the “best sleep of her life”. Hosts were lovely, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble… even tracked us down in the village after we left to return some forgotten earrings. Staff were friendly and helpful, with them being accommodating for our 1 year old child. Food at Gather great, with beautiful sea views. A 45/50min drive to Stranraer / Cairnryan if you’re using as an overnight stop off point en route to the ferry. The owner Caroline told us a full family story about all farm. It is a place where you feel like at home. Each house has its own charm and the details are perfectly chosen. The indoor swimming pool was a big plus. food was good and staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.
