We had a truly pleasant stay at Cherryford House. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The house is owned by a lovely couple who made sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. They were gracious hosts—classy, attentive, and genuinely caring. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We absolutely loved the place and were delighted to experience the beauty of the English countryside. This was a special stay to remember!

Very friendly staff, superb location on the edge of the moor. Room was nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent and evening meal good pub fare. I like the slightly quirky style of the place - so much better than bigger fancier hotels that are often soulless.

Friendly, great service and lovely food. Landlord couldn’t be any more helpful, went out of his way to make our stay the perfect stopover.

On arrival we found everything was easy and everything was clean, the scones, cream, jam, milk, cheese, tomatoes, coffee, tea, bread, orange juice was excellent and a very tasty surprise, we had an amazing time with everything we needed to relax and enjoy, will definitely be back soon.

Everything was perfect. Friendly, warm and welcoming hosts. House was better than expected. Exceptionally clean and great location. The hosts also welcomed our dogs and two small children!

Beautiful character cottage with wonderfully comfy beds in a stunningly beautiful part of the Devon countryside. The living room has a lovely wood stove but the central heating is really good so it’s more for atmosphere than heat. Kitchen very well equipped. Two nice bathrooms, one en-suite. Very easy key-pick up.
