The perfect stay in quaint Glasbury - a well appointed room that was clean and comfortable, and a short walk from the nearest pub and restaurant. The room is nicely decorated and gets lovely afternoon sunlight, we would highly recommend.

What a lovely find! Great location, great facilities, super clean and welcome! My family loved staying here for 2 nights. We slept very well, comfortable bed and all the little treats of a 5 star place! The ice cream shop is a must! And so is the coffee/ book place nearby. We went there everyday and really enjoyed it! 5 stars!!!

The house is perfect. Large beds. Cozy rooms. A charming place for privacy in the round windows. Plenty of space for children to play hide and seek :) Place for active games, table tennis and a climbing wall. Right from the yard there are three walking routes of varying difficulty. A beautiful view from the window into the courtyard, where bunnies and pheasants run in the morning. Great internet.

The property could not be faulted. The food was superb and the ambience excellent. The staff were friendly and could not do enough to be helpful - they obviously feel very proud of the hotel. It far exceeded our expectations and we have already recommended it to our friends and family. Thank you very much for a lovely stay - we hope to return!

The peaceful location was very nice and the hosts were really friendly and happy to help with any queries we had. The cottage had everything we wanted and was so spacious and clean and was near to some very nice locations such as Hay on the Wye. There were some fun board games to play and we enjoyed playing table tennis and using the record player which was an interesting addition and lots of other lovely touches throughout.

A truly luxurious accommodation set within a lovely garden with outstanding views, made for a truly exceptional weekend stay. The icing on the cake for us, was the hosts Clare and John, whose warm welcome throughout our stay made us feel more like family than guests. As someone once said “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.” That was how we felt and a return is definitely on the cards. Thank you Clare and John!

We arrived in the afternoon. There were no staff to greet us but we were provided with a key and a letter to describe the hotel and facilities. The hotel was incredibly quiet, we went off-season and there were only two other rooms that were booked. It's not on a busy road, it's in a rural location which meant it was not noisy. The breakfast was amazing, great quality ingredients that came hot and a good sized portion. It's about a 5-minute drive from Hay-on-Wye.
