Family hotels and homes in Glenmoriston

Really nice, renovated country inn. Yes, in the "middle of nowhere" but close to the main access to Skye, and not far from Loch Ness. It's perfect for a relaxing stay away from everything else. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for a morning and evening walk. The staff is really nice and courteous. They also own the bakehouse across the street, with great coffee and treats. We stayed two nights with my wife and kids and it was trully relaxing.

Bonniest view in the country! Stunning scenery made this Hotel stand out. The lovely family that manage this refurbished hotel were very welcoming and all smiles!

Booked the family room for two adults and a four year old. The room had a large bed and two singles so definitely enough room for the three of us. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The scenery around the hotel is amazing. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere or at least gives you that feeling which is great.

We came across the Inn when searching for accommodation near to Eilean Donan Castle (30 min drive). It’s in the middle of nowhere which makes it very fun. We saw deer from our window right outside! Food was delicious, we chose Indian food. The little Bakehouse across the road is good too we got a couple of cakes. Staff very friendly and nice good size rooms.

The family room was quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was quite good!

Lovely location enroute to the Isle of Skye. Very comfortable rooms, with gorgeous views. Really nice common areas and a very large dining area that is lively at all times of the day with in-house guests as well as travelers stopping for refreshments. Last orders for food (extensive menu) are as late as 10:00pm which is great when traveling with family including kids. Service by the staff was great - friendly and attentive.

The restaurant was very good and staff was great. We didn't have time to eat breakfast before we left, so they packed us a great take away bag that was loaded with great things! I had 2 deer lounging outside of my window after dinner! How fun to see them close up!
