Family hotels and homes in Iona

Loved everything -brilliant for family and kids -recommend ailidhs pizzas -book in advance just fab. Such a special place!

Location could not be more convenient: literally just twenty seconds' walk from the ferry terminal. So quiet and tranquil; the silence was deafening ! Very nice gift shop attached to the hotel, run also by the manager(ess) of the hotel. Breakfast was a very convivial, almost family affair, providing an opportunity to share travel experiences with other guests.

There are two many thing to write about, but I will try and keep it short. The pods are exceptionally clean, showers and toilets as well. , The staff are exceptional , no other words I can say. The Island, words could never describe the views , these will have to be seen for yourself. If your thinking of going, don't think about it just book it.

Nice, quiet, beautiful spot. Well maintained. Good facilities area with washing up and recycling options. Handy having a fridge and the big jug for water. Simple. Comfortable. Like camping but more functional. Stripped back.

Iona is wonderful, a truly magical place. Sandra was an absolutely brilliant host, very warm and kind and this helped to make our visit unforgettable. The room was basic as described but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast that Sandra made was fantastic, really enjoyable.

We loved the glorious sun porch and the cosy bedroom and the views all round! it was well equipped for kids to play and had lambs leaping in the garden!

Fab location and lovely pods. Excellent for a family weekend away.
