But the staff were so lovely and friendly we almost forgot why we were there! They have different types of rooms, some in the Manor House and others in the connecting building so if you prefer grandure, ask for the main house. The others are beautiful and cosier. She arranged an immediate change of room so my father didn't have to walk up to top floor(no lift) and arranged a twin room for second night after giving us a family room with an excellent sofa bed & king-size double on the first.
