The property was absolutely stunning! Photos don’t do justice to how adorable this little place is. To add to that, the hosts are amazing! So generous and helpful! We arrived in Stroud around midnight and the hosts stayed up that late to greet us and they helped us find transport to the accommodation. Just the best!

As such a cosy and perfect set up for our family (2 adults and 2 children) in a beautiful area so close to Stroud. The beds were so comfy, the heating perfect and lovely touches like fresh muffins, cereal, bread and fresh jams! So easy to liaise with the owners who were just lovely.

Great location for our visit to Slimbridge, would definitely recommend. The cottage was lovely with everything that you would need for a short stay or a longer holiday. Excellent off road parking, good sized rooms, comfortable bed and very well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom, in particular the shower was great. The cottage was spotless throughout and the ‘welcome’ food and drink was a lovely touch. Communication with the owner was clear and very efficient.

Room was huge, we booked the family room and it has a large kingsized bedroom, a smaller room with 2 single beds and a separate lounge area. The beds were very comfy and the shower nice and warm. It was the perfect place for us to stay. Breakfast is great too!

The staff were lovely, very accommodating as we needed to pick up keys before check in due to attending a wedding. They also let us change in a function room. Beds were comfortable and shower was hot. Tea and coffee for the morning before we set off home. Breakfast was also available but we didn't try that. The place in very oldie worldy and charming.

The weekend was perfect. We travelled for family reunion and requested rooms near each other mainly so that my 86 year old mother was close to us. This was accommodated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the service at dinner was brilliant. As a party of 8 we were all served within minutes of each other and the food was lovely.

Stayed just one mid-winter night in our way to a family function. Our room was clean, tidy, and warm.. which was good as it was cold and snowy.. we are in the bar, straight forward burgers from a straightforward menu, and they were very good too.. Breakfast was also very good, cooked to choice with a friendly smile. All good, no reason not to return.
