We stayed for two nights in order to attend a family funeral and are planning to return later in the year to explore the area more fully. The restaurant deserves particular praise. The menu was exceptional and, as someone diagnosed coeliac, the chefs went out of their way to adapt every dish on the menu to be gluten-free. And it was worth it as the food was more than delicious. Decent sized bedroom and bathroom and a comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing! You can put the kids to bed and chill in a very warm and cosy living room. The lovely town of Kinross is only 45 minutes drive from Edinburgh, and 45 minutes to Stirling, perfect stopover if you are planning to visit both places in turn, and also enjoy the lovely local views. We had an exceptionally tasty dinner on our first night and tasty and generous breakfast on both mornings.
