However the room was lovely and extremely comfortable. We were able to check in early and spend an afternoon relaxing before travelling home the next day. Double bed and single bed. Both very comfortable. A lovely shower en suite. Great breakfast. Ready meals also available to cook in a microwave at a small cost, plus snacks and drinks, soft and alcoholic. Saw a red squirrel in the garden, fed with peanuts by the proprietors. But, as the saying goes, it's not the place that adorns the person, but the person that adorns the place. The owners make it absolutely wonderful. From cleanliness and housekeeping to the beautiful lobby with a fireplace and very tasty breakfasts in the morning.
