    Location was excellent. Close to Lerwick Harbour. Could walk easily to attractions within the town precinct and free parking very close. Good, hearty breakfast and our host, Ryan, was super friendly and helpful. There’s a nice family feel about the place. Highly recommend.

    The hosts were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Great service and advice from start to finish of our trip. We would recommend highly rhos family run home from home bed and breakfast.

    The possibility of having small family rooms with en suite showers. Well equipped kitchen, very clean all over, nice building, very good value for money, good information about local events transports etc, car park, good location

    It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional. The location was also very central.

    Had a lovely stay at the Alder Lodge, ample supply of coffee , tea, and milk in the rooms. And biscuits. The Alder is a family run band b very friendly and helpful. There was a good and plentiful choice for breakfast that was freshly cooked. The Alder Lodge is in a very convenient location 15 mins walk from the ferry terminal, or the local buses. Enjoyed my stay. Would recommend it, and when planning a return visit it will be my first choice

    Lovely grand old house repurposed as affordable comfortable accommodation. Well furnished, with characterful features and different rooms to relax in. Good self catering facilities and shower rooms. Friendly reception. Would definitely stay again.
