    The location was great - really useful for Lewes town, the castle and the train station. The property was clean, comfortable and well set-up for a family of four like ours. We weren't staying very long but would have made a great base for exploring Sussex and the coast.

    This is one of those places you would call a 'find'. The bar is charming: comfortable, natural, friendly and old fashioned in the best way possible. The food was brilliant (and all the same descriptors apply). Room nicely done, bright and fun, with intelligently considerd facilities. Absolutely excellent shower.

    Bathroom spotless, cleaner to be congratulated. Quieter than I expected being above a pub. Only noise heard in morning when I could hear neighbouring room deal with their children waking up,

    The camping pods are very easy to access and in a very nice quaint area. It's also brand new and super clean including the toilets. The welcome pack told us everything we needed and we had so much fun doing the self bbq as well. The host Tim was also very attentive and helpful. Would definately visit again with family
