This place has everything you’d expect from a proper B&B: a beautiful, comfy room, a good breakfast, and a lovely host who truly enjoys interacting with guests. They're also very knowledgeable about local attractions—so don’t hesitate to ask for tips! The room is spacious and well-equipped, with its own fridge stocked with all kinds of food. There were fruits and veggies, cereals, bread, yoghurt—you name it. The bathroom is also very spacious and includes a washing machine and dryer. Three nice pubs are within walking distance of the house. The owner is an artist, and her work is displayed throughout the home, adding a warm, personal touch. And as a bonus—if you're into printmaking, the owner might even take you to an art club (I was lucky enough to get the chance!).

The Shepherds Hut was great - it was very comfortable and warm (even in December), and had everything we needed for a stay. The location is absolutely stunning - there are some beautiful local hikes, and the view of the stars at night was magical. The hosts were also really welcoming. Thank you!

We chose this accommodation after looking for a beautiful wild location, and it did not disappoint. Being already up in the hills, there were plenty of hikes beginning from the front door. There was plenty of wildlife to spot on the long drives up the valley to and from the hut, and the night sky was stunning. But in addition, the hut itself was so well designed and well-kitted out that we felt we had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition, and so warm and cosy. As long as people are seeking a remote location, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Moelfre Shepherds Hut.

Breakfast and dinner were excellant. Our room was more than adequate. People need to keep in mind that this is a very old building not a modern facility and expectations should be based on that fact. The host were very welcoming and accomodating. I would stay again.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The overall feel of the property was just fantastic - very well presented, with every amenity you could need, and plenty of space for the whole family. The central location in the village meant it was easy to find, and we were just moments away from the local shop and pub. Oh - and the gift basket to welcome us on our arrival was a brilliant touch - we immediately felt right at home with a cuppa!
