United KingdomSelf catering facilities included a dishwasher with a modern electric cooker. This was only built this February, discreetly pointing away from the main building onto quiet open fields. The tasteful modern decor and furnishings had a colour scheme throughout.
We were quickly able to get out to many good places in Llyn peninsula, Anglesey and Snowdonia within 30 to 45 minutes. The proximity to the recently built Caernarfon bypass helped here. 4 days was just not enough.
We met the owners. The dialogue on directions was helpful because the position on the map was slightly inaccurate.

I stayed with my 3 boys aged 18, 16 and 11. They loved the family rooms and pool table etc and walking round the grounds of the hostel too. Accommodation was super clean and kitchen facilities were fab. We always meet great people there, lots of other families, the kitchen is clean and well-equipped with a good system for storing your food, and the kids loved feeding the sheep, chickens and alpacas. The location is brilliant, great for getting to Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula.
