Location was good (close to the ferry), breakfast was really good, the room and the bathroom were clean and really comfy, the host was really nice and helpful, the custom booklet about activities to do on Uist and surrounding islands was really helpful too ! Would definitely recommend !

It was beautiful, the location right next to the supermarket was perfect. The Toolshed is equipped with everything you need and more. We wish we could have stayed even longer!

Life on a croft for a month was ideal. We loved the animals and birds. Having the beach nearby and the Hebridean Way was great for walks. It was a good location for exploring the Islands of Eiriskay , South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist and Berneray. Kathryn, having lived there for a lifetime, was a great source of information about the area. We really enjoyed our time with Jeff too. The pod is very weather-proof and the wind was silenced by shutting of the door. On a better day the windows in the pod were easily opened to hear the sounds of nature. A truly memorable stay.
