we enjoyed our stay at the white swan, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our room was ready over a hour early. the meals in the pub were amazing and we loved the breakfast, if we are on the area again we would stay here again and would recommend the white swan to anyone.

Lots of space, all the facilities we needed,very clean, great location. They put up a Christmas tree and left us tea coffee milk biscuits and Prosecco upon arrival at no extra cost.

Very comfortable, clean and everything we needed for our stay. Modernised but has kept it's country cottage character. Sadly the weather was awful but the cottage was warm and cheery. Centrally-heated but the log fire just made it that much cosier. And having some basics like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits is a lovely touch.

    Great place to stop when travelling North. Near Holy Island which I have always wanted to visit. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Fun pub in the evening but our room was very quiet comfortable and clean. Good parking.

    Weve stopped here twice now over the last few years. Both stays have been comfortable, with the family rooms being clean and cosy. Great breakfasts and pub food. Duncan and staff great. Location pretty good too. Close enough drive to local beaches, holy island, berwick, alnwick etc. We even had a day in edinburgh which is only an hour and half away in the car.

    The accommodation is as described plus the staff are very responsive to all our requests, eg put the heating on as it was cold, replenished with our preferred tea bags/coffees. The breakfast selection is good. It is very good for parking.

    Lovely country pub. Great staff, good food, spacious room. They had a fundraising event on when we arrived that we were unaware of when booking, but staff still went out of their way to accommodate us and get us sorted in our room.

    Fantastic living space with large log burner, comfy sofas and a great kitchen. Safe, enclosed garden which was perfect for our two dogs. Plenty of space for our family. Comfy beds. Great location for visiting all the sites in the area. Corner shop about 50m away sold great cakes and all essentials. Two pubs in the village also. Great play park and big open space with goalposts too.
