The empathy of the host was amazing. Breakfast suited to the wishes of the guest but she was also helping with issues that were not related at all to the guest house, but to my own cycle plans. One of those hosts and places I ‘ll always remember. Whenever a bed needed here around I’ll try this one first.

United KingdomWe stayed here 19 years ago, and decided to return. Everything was exactly the same as previous. The accommodation is extremely well kept and maintained to a high standard.
It's slightly smaller than "The Pend" next door but the kitchen in The Precinct House" is stunning with a large Electric Aga which I've loved cooking on. Shower room/Toilet is very neat and tidy. And upstairs both bedrooms are beautifully decorated. We will go back a little bit sooner next time.

Peaceful , lovely super sized comfy bed, good food and staff were very helpful. It is within walking distance to the town.
