Our room was big, very comfortable with a generous amount of drawers for storage. It had free parking, an excellent selection of continental breakfast and wonderful, friendly and helpful owners. The place is fantastic, quiet and surrounded by nature - you'll have the deer wandering through in the morning. It's close to the river where kids can play on the stepping stones, there is also a swimming spot not far away. David arranged a badminton field, some outdoor toys and a fire pit, and he also let us charge the car which was really appreciated.Guest review byChristelFamily with young children

Woodland has a rope swing and a homemade climbing bridge, which was fun for the kids We also requested a little help with setting some balloons/ cake as a surprise for a 13th birthday, which the owners did for us and was a really nice surprise for our daughter The views of surrounding areas are breathtakingGuest review byGarethFamily with young children

Didn't miss it not being cooked. Lovely room and bathroom for a family of 4. Very quiet location and food options for dinner very close. Loved being able to open window at night for a little ventilation. Would definitely recommend. Kids loved the bunks.Room fitted out to an extremely high standard. Theresa was so lovely and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, giving us tips on where to visit. The breakfast was amazing - so much choice and all utterly delicious. The room was so lovely - there were 4 of us sharing a family room and it was just immaculate, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy (i ended up on the bottom bunk thanks to my kids and even that was very comfortable!).
