From the moment we arrived at Anita and Gary’s home, we truly felt the magic that another guest had beautifully described in a previous review. They welcomed us so warmly and instantly made us feel at home. The room and shared spaces were immaculate!!They are spotlessly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and filled with lovely details that showed how much care they put into hosting. The house itself smells wonderful, and the garden is simply breathtaking. It is a peaceful haven where you can relax and recharge. What truly sets this stay apart, however, are Anita and Gary themselves. They are the most wonderful, loving couple who looked after us with genuine kindness and care throughout the week. Being new to the area, we were especially grateful for the way they went above and beyond to help us settle in. Their warmth and generosity made us feel not just like guests, but like family. In just a short time, we built a connection that we will always treasure. We already miss our conversations and the comforting feeling of being in their home. If you are considering staying here, know that you are not only booking a place to sleep, you are stepping into a true “home away from home” filled with love, care, and a touch of magic. Anita and Gary are exceptional hosts, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great place to be. Super host, restaurant and bar. Enjoyed very much the Sunday Roast. Very close to the railway station so we could leave for a weekend in London while we could leave our car parked at the secured parking of the hotel. The room was great, super beds, honest bar and plenty of coffee and tea to choose from. Highly recommend this place

Absolutely fantastic!!!!! We have just returned home after spending 2 days aboard the Bright Owl with our two 16-year-old children, and we truly wish we had booked a longer stay. We had an incredible experience. From the exceptionally warm and informative welcome provided by Richard and Elizabeth, to the lovely, cozy, and inviting home that offered every comfort imaginable. Furthermore, the setting was beautiful, with excellent onboard facilities and a fabulous location close to numerous places for walking, dining, drinking, exploring, and wild swimming. We eagerly anticipate our return.

Very clean apartment , stocked with everything you would need for a simple nights stay, soft linen on the beds and easy keybox access because we booked so last minute , it was also quiet considering it was next to the airport
