No words to describe the beauty of the surroundings. Good place for walks or kayaking. We walked to Monmouth and back round the River Wye, going through woods and fields of meadows. The room and bathroom is very clean. Staff is also very helpful. A young lady by the name of Beth helped me to take me with our two suitcases as my husband parked our car. It is charming and has facilities for large functions as well as extensive outdoor facilities. The location is excellent for visiting the area and is quite close to the river. Felt like a home cooked meal which is just what I wanted after a long day hiking. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It really has the feel of a family run hotel.
