    Our stay at The Family Tree was brilliant. The room and bathroom were very well equipped, decorated to a high standard and very clean. Best sleep I've had for years! The breakfast was fantastic. So much choice. Quality produce and presented wonderfully. Staff were fab too!

    The Family Tree is extremely comfortable, clean and perfectly situated for walking and enjoying the countryside. The court yard at the back is a great place to sit and relax, enjoy the sun and the delicious breakfast.

    The Family Tree is in a beautiful situation. We witness that the owner allows a local ladies' choir to rehearse there for an hour or so on Tuesday evenings, an important and excellent facility for the community. We applaud this. Our bedroom was absolutely fine for our visit and the dining room was excellent. Due to the traffic, we were late to arrive. Our host was fine about this, so all was well.

    Wonderful bnb with an extremely comfortable bed and the vegan breakfast options were delicious and varied. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Family Tree again if we were in the area!

    Good location for the area. Local station and on the A6 The food is brilliant. The family and staff are welcoming and helpful and friendly.

    This was our second time at the family tree staff are always polite and welcoming the rooms are lovely decor and clean comfy beds too. Great location and parking available on site. Breakfast is amazing! Huge tray of lots to choose from aswell as a hot breakfast too. Nice quiet area too even with it being near the train station

    We stayed at The Canal Inn for two nights in between Christmas and New Year to attend a family wedding. The staff at the Inn were superb, so welcoming and approachable. It felt as if everyone was interested in what we were doing and eager to help out and to make you feel welcome. The food at breakfast and evening dinner was super and reasonably priced. All in all our stay at The canal Inn added a great deal to a very enjoyable family event.
