SwitzerlandOur host Alex was extraordinary caring about my husband who has pain in his leg. She helped us find a little hospital nearby where we get help from a doctor.
The house was charming and we loved the garden where we could eat and rest.
We slept very good in the beds and because of the quietness. Nearby was the canal where we could go for a walk.
The parking next to the house was great too.

The little touches she did really made it feel like home. We loved it that much we booked again for Christmas while we was there. I would highly recommend!

United StatesAmple space for parking, in a rural setting, no noises, lovely bedroom with a personal bathroom. Had a nice tea caddy in the bedroom for some cookies, tea and coffee. Both regular and decaf. We had a silent nights sleep. The was complete with juice, coffee and tea. Eggs and salmon, basket of sweet bread, and jams and jellies.
We traveled into Farndon and dined at The Hare, and had a great meal there. On a Saturday night both the Hare and Cock o’Barton were both packed and should have been booked. It was a good night of rest and food.

The staff were all wonderful, very friendly and informative. The location was good for us as we were visiting family close by. Our room was clean, had everything we needed and the bathroom looked quite new. The carpet was a bit dated but there was no signs of mould or damp or anything else I had read about. Also on departure too, making the whole experience easy and welcoming. The property itself was everything and more of what he hoped to enjoy a relaxing weekend away with the family. The gardens were private and spacious, the games room and hot tub kept the children entertained all weekend, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for a group of 7 of us in total. Imaculate interior, comfortable and spacious, with absolutely everything you need for a blissful stay. Perfect for families, we stayed with our teenagers who loved the property. The pub downstairs was lively with very friendly locals and good music. We got a small welcome basket of milk and bread which was well appreciated.
