Best stay in Sougia. The apartments are furnished with class (rock and wood), the bed is comfortable and the location is excellent (close to Sougia but in the serenity of the mountains). Go check out the Rebetiko restaurant in Matala, run by the same family. Amazing food!

We loved the quiet pittoresk village with a beautiful view on the mountains. The house was very charming with plenty of nice easy going cats, which we loved! We stayed 10 days in Kreta and this was our favorite location to stay, due to the privacy, cats and scenery.

It is a real treasure in Crete. Absolute peace, only the sounds of the village. Apartment clean, equipped above standard, double a/c, parking space.
