Our stay was amazing. First, the hotel is simply beautiful, with stunning views of the sea and great architecture. The big swimming pool with sea water and the hotel beach were top notches. Our room with a private swimming pool was perfect for a stay with our kid. Indeed, in spite of being a luxury hotel, Amirandes is definitely a place for families. The days' schedules (meals, activities...) seem to always take into account the needs of the youngest clients. The place is also very quiet, we never had any issues for getting good sleep. The staff was always very helpful and polite. The restaurant had a great choice of food which was always pretty tasty.

1. Location is perfect if you travel with kids. Just 20 minutes from the airport. 2. Food is perfect, lot of choices, vary tasty. 3. Staff is very helpful, friendly. 4. Beach is near, good for the kids to play around. 5. There is also a playground for the kids. And a lot of other things for the kids: movies, shows, dances, kids room and slides with pools. 6. As for adults: one small pool. It can get crowded as it the only one with deep water, kids also like to jump there. 7. The view that you will get while eating is really beautiful. You will not see it on the pictures here but believe me, its quite amazing. I was surprised.

    My family and I (including a small child) were looking for accommodation east of Heraklion away from the main tourist resorts and this met our expectations. Excellent location (we had a room with sea view), a short walk to the beaches, one of which was covered by a breakwater, a shop and a good restaurants basically downstairs. The owner addressed all our needs immediately and without the slightest problem. Excellent value for money from our point of view.

    We were with two small children for a week, in two separate but connecting rooms. What I would definitely highlight is the cleanliness and the immeasurable kindness experienced at the reception, especially towards families with children. Late check-out was a dream, and the icing on the cake was that they offered a free room for the afternoon departure so we could rest a bit before the evening flight. Many thanks for it.

    I traveled with two small children and I was really surprised how great it all was. Clean and big rooms. Various areas for children to play. Delicious food. Nice and friendly staff, especially Mr. Panos and Mrs. Lena and Alina at the restaurant were always very nice and amazing with the kids. Definitely worth a visit!
