We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Kala Nera, such a beautiful peaceful location in the countryside yet only a short stroll to the beach where there are many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a lovely sized balcony which overlooked the pretty gardens. We particularly enjoyed watching the European bee eaters flying around in the early evening. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the cheese pies and homemade jams were a treat. We managed to see many of the nearby places by local bus and hiked to the nearby mountain village. Ainareti is a great base for exploring Pelion and the owners are so lovely and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a very relaxing stay.

The view from the mountain overlooking the sea was stunning and serene, with clean surroundings. The staff was incredibly helpful, always smiling and ready to assist, and the breakfast was delicious. Additionally, having a jacuzzi in the room was a luxurious touch.

This was a great find! The accommodation is really really nice, with great location (10 min from the beach/5 min from tavernas/1 min from the sea). Super comfortable bed and pillows, easy check in, parking right next to the hotel. Extra special appreciation for the shower, super high pressure-you can fly to Mars with that thing :) Also, Nina from the reception was super nice and showed us great hospitality!

We spent a wonderful holiday in a small, traditional fishing village in the Pelion area — a peaceful and authentic place that truly won our hearts. We are a family with two teenage children, and this was the perfect place for all of us to relax and disconnect. The house we stayed in exceeded all expectations: it was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with high-quality finishes, and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including basic food items, and there was generous storage space. We also enjoyed a lovely garden for relaxing, as well as access to a small vegetable garden offered by the hosts. The beach is just a short walk away — small and quiet, with crystal-clear water and a gentle, shallow entrance, making it ideal for families. The nearby seaside tavernas served amazing food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. What truly made this experience unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They welcomed us with such kindness that we felt like we were visiting old friends. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, natural beauty, and a genuine Greek experience.
