Villa Benjamin is an absolute gem in Crete! Perfectly located near great tavernas, a huge supermarket, and beautiful beaches (we took our best trip photos there). The villa is huge, spotless, and far better than the photos suggest. The rooftop terrace is the highlight - stunning views and the best spot for breakfast or evenings. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and everything felt 5* quality. The host was amazing - super fast replies, great recommendations, even helped me arrange flowers. If you’re exploring East Crete, this is hands down the best place to stay!

Fantastic staff that went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They were polite, respectful and entertaining. We had 3 rooms all spacious and clean, with balconies and view of the pool. Food onsite was fantastic, drinks available always, pool toys for the kids. Location was fantastic, restaurants in walking distance (10mins max) and authentic food. Local shopping and bars within 10mins to 20mins. Beach was a 20min walk. The grounds were maintained everyday, green grass, beautiful trees and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Some nights the partying went on until 2-3 am, but never a disturbance. Plenty of sun beds which are setup and put away everyday.

Drossia Palms Hotel and Nisos Beach Suites is a beautiful complex set amidst delightful gardens with palm trees and located 150 metres from the Malia beach.

Oasis in the madness that is Malia. Amazing in every way. We did not eat here but alot of people were and seemed to come back. The strawberry daiquiri is simply amazing and great for a poolside beverage

We had a wonderful stay at Castello Boutique Suites! The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and a fantastic view to enjoy every morning. The suite was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Villa Christina is simply amazing. It's spacious, comfortable, clean, and excellently situated close to the old town. It has an electric gate for privacy, plenty of parking space, and a beautiful garden. There's air conditioning in all rooms, an amazing spa shower, fast wifi, a TV with streaming services installed, a dishwasher and washing machine, and plenty of kitchenware. We loved staying here to sunbathe in the garden. Bonus points for the lovely red tomcat from next door that visited us every day. The host was also super friendly and helpful.

Staying at this place was incredible. This is a settlement of only a couple of huts, so we were in amazing silence, where you could hear birds and roosters. The hosts left pleasant gifts. They were very kind, answered quickly if we had any questions. The house has everything you need: a washing machine (there are even capsules for washing, which is incredibly nice, because we didn't have to buy a whole package), a hair dryer, a grill, a comfortable bed, an oven, hot water. We vacationed at the end of August - beginning of September, so the temperature in the house was perfect. We felt at home, which was also helped by the very friendly neighbors. We had a car, so we had no problem going to a nearby town for dinner or buying groceries. There is an olive farm 5 minutes away, where there is a free basic tour. It takes 15-30 minutes to get to the best beaches, depending on where you are going. The nearest large supermarket is also about 15 minutes away. Also, your path will run past olive groves every day, which deepens you the atmosphere of the island.
