Everything was perfect - the staff were exceptional nothing was a problem. it was a happy place to be and we made friends. Spotless cleaning each day by the cleaning ladies. I broke the key in the lock and it was sorted out in no time and no charge. The bar staff were so brilliant and the Tuesday night greek dancing was the best night we had in Crete - highly recommended. The Chef took great pride in his food and so he should - it was homemade and so tasty. we loved the beach chairs and he always had a warm smile to greet us each day ❤️ ❤️

Loved my stay at Kallitsakis. Cleaning each day by Christina(who was lovely) & Arna at the front desk was very helpful & so nice! Pool was beautiful & clean. A 2 minute walk to ALL you need. Definitely recommend ❤️

We stayed in Alkionides for 7 days and it was abolutely fantastic. The room unfortunately did not have sea view, but it was very clean and modern. Room service is doing cleaning and towel change at daily basis. We enjoyed ourselves having delicious breakfasts in a very cosy hotel restaurant, the owners are very friendly, they offer home-made orange jam, olive oil and domestic fruits, there are various dishes to choose. We highly recommend this place!

The house had everything we needed and very clean when we arrived. The check in was smooth and we were let in at 12.00 as we arrived earlier, so we still had the whole day to explore and enjoy. The view from the terrace was beautiful. Laundry detergent was available which was a nice touch ( the previous villas we stayed in had dish washers and laundry machines but we had to buy own detergents for each). Also, the house is quite far from everything, but we had a rental car all the time, so it wasn’t not a problem.

Absolutely everything . Kristina was super friendly and accommodating, nothing was ever a problem . Whenever I sent her the message asking about something , she replied straight away . As it was my birthday when we arrived , she left me nice bottle of white wine . It felt like hone away from home , she was so lovely , felt like having another member of family with us . She even brought my daughter lovely gifts the day we left . Apartment was beautiful and very comfortable with sea view , 2 minutes walk to the beach , 5 seconds walk to supermarket and 5 minutes walk to Main Street and centre with all the shops and tavernas . Very very convenient . We loved little balcony where we sat every night drinking wine , listening to the sea. Apartment had everything , stove , microwave , fridge , iron , hair dryer . Bathroom was also great . Air con amazing . Everything was amazing and we had Suoerb 8 days there . Next time I come to Platanias, I’m definitely staying with Kristina and Stelios .

Breakfast was not included as it was a self catering villa, but the hugely generous and helpful welcome pack was a fantastic and unexpected bonus after a long days travel. We had lunch and dinner at the Sonio Resturant where Stathis, who owns the Villa, and his family were fantastic hosts and the meals and drinks were delicious and excellent value for money.
