    Ismal and his family are super kind and gentle people, always ready to help and provide informations. The accomodation is simple but spacious and clean, free amazing coffee, and here you'll have the feeling to be in a real homestay in a real guatemala village to base yourself for Tikal, instead of being in the Flores tourist bubble.

    This family-run hotel is a great choice. The host is so friendly and speaks very good English. Check in is very fast and easy. The room is very clean and air-conditioning is very powerful. We parked the car in the courtyard inside the hotel with gates, very safe. It is a wonderful stay after visiting Tikal. We booked very early so we had a great price. The host honored the price, unlike some other hotels on this trip, asking us to pay more.

    Lots of amazing places to sit by the lake. Beautiful grounds. Lovely pets! Good food for breakfast. The dinner is a set menu which is a bit hit or miss depending on how fussy you or your family is!

    Everything was one point. Starting from the organization and response before the trip to the end. Humberto the owner is excellent. The place was extremely clean. The bed and linings great great quality. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer. We will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. Also, the host was able to plan both Yaxha and Tikal transportation and guides for a good price.

    Huge garden which our kids loved running around and exploring in. Lots of other interesting things for them to see too. Lovely terrace with a view over the lake, with a great pulley contraption to order drinks from the restaurant! Lots of birds (although apparently many more at different times of year!) Room was cleaned daily. Delicious dragon fruit pie using dragon fruit from the garden!

    In early hours as well as late at night a very helpfull and kind staff / family !!! There was good WiFi connection everywhere and nice mosquito nets over all beds! Also two fans gave a needed cooling. The location is perfect, as all shuttles pass by, there are a lot of restaurants, a small supermarket and the atm.

    Literally everything. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the service impeccable. Drifting up to the property via boat and taking the funicular up to the hotel is a must - so unique and felt like I had entered the video game Riven/Myst! Such a special experience that my kids and I will never forget. The lake set up is beautiful and so quiet/private, and the pool option is also lovely with great views of the lake. Everything was beautiful, the attention to detail was so appreciated, and their tours are fantastic!
