It has an amazing location, nice philosophy and atmosphere. The staff is very international and friendly. The tours provided are exciting and fun. The family dinner table concept is appealing.

Exceeded expectations. Very cool design and layout, and somewhere to chill out in the sun, drink, socialise, and hangout in or by the pool. The food is also exceptionally good given the remote location. Perfect location if you want to be close to the entrance for Semuc Champey. Highly recommended, but note that this is a younger + social hostel rather than somewhere for older travellers looking for peace and quiet or families with kids.

The reviews don’t lie: David is a legend! Truly had the best day being guided around Semuc Champey by David who grew up exploring the area and knows the best spots to show you. The in-house tienda, shuttle booking and affordable restaurant made our stay so easy and relaxing. So happy to stay with this lovely family!

We are in love with Greengo's, we stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food is wonderful, they have a great menu with multiple vegetarian and vegan options of western, Israeli and local cuisine. The staff will try to accommodate your every need and make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible! The volunteers at Greengo's are amazing, organising different activities every day, which you can join for free if you feel like participating. Thank you Greengo's family for an absolutely wonderful time ❤️

Family were so lovely and kind. The tour as per the other reviews- was just amazing. David made it so much fun and it was a real highlight of our trip to Guatemala do far. Everything was so clean, food was super tasty and water pressure was not as bad as the reviews made it out to be! They picked us up and dropped us back at the bus station for free, helped us dry our washing and were just so kind. If you want to stay away from the party hostels this one is for you!

Most ppl stay here for Semuc Champy, so join David's tour!!!!! He is the best!!!! Professional, reliable and having much fun with him. His family are also so nice, when we arrived first day, tuktuk already there to pick us up. When we leaving, also drop us off at the terminal. Room, public area amd bathroom are clean, especially the bed is so comfortable!!!!!! Besides, they also run restaurant and offer reasonable price. I also reserved my shuttle here. Appreciate everything!!

The whole family is super friendly! We did a tour with them to Semuc Champey which was super fun and not overly crowded. Food is freshly made on the spot and very good.

The whole family at Casa Mary could not be more friendly. They made us feel at home instantly. They were there to pick us up from our bus and helped us arrange our onward travel. The accommodation is basic as expected, which adds to the whole charm of the place. We felt so relaxed enjoying the garden space in the evenings and the food was delicious. We did the Semuc Champey tour with David and we were the only two that day. He managed to take us to all the spots whilst avoiding the big crowds and he was so fun and enthusiastic.
