Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

Being on San Miguel, you get to have the best view of Flores at all different times of the day surrounded by beautiful plants. Staff are all lovely, especially Noa, who went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy; and the vibe is chilled, relaxed, and easy. It is on a bit of a hill so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

Incredible hotel on the lake with stunning views, facilities, and lovely staff. We’re a British couple in our late 20s and it’s one of our favourite hotels that we’ve ever stayed in. There is a shuttle boat that runs from the hotel to Flores island which is a pretty cool mode of transport. Few things we particularly liked: - The staff are accommodating offering great excursions (Tikal was the tour we did and enjoyed) and were very welcoming, particularly given our Spanish was very poor - the food at the hotel is really good, nice touch preparing the breakfast boxes too when we had early departures from the hotel - good drinks options too (beers and cocktails the highlight from our side, wine was expensive but that’s to be expected) - there are kayaks and pedalos free to use too which were a nice touch. - the room is stunning with beautiful views, good TV, impressive bathroom

Hotel exceeded our expectations and one of our best experiences. Amazing nature reserve hotel. All wood finish suites with huge balcony opening to the lake and surrounded by forest. High quality amenities, wonderful staff, amazing guest recognition, great food, flexible to our needs.

Lovely and clean, new renovations and USB plugs even. Spacious and although shared toilet, only 1 other room there. Perfect location for ferry (car and person) to and from Flores (advise this is driving rather than the road in and only costs £3 (Q30). Hosts are lovely and so helpful ensuring you are treated like a local. Rooms are spacious and airy and the fan is sufficient to keep you cool as minimal windows.

Serena is located in Flores and features a private beach area, pool with a view and a garden. The property has pool and garden views.

The venue is a bit further out, but it is a very short walk away. It has a chill vibe and a fantastic garden and small swimming pool where to chill with an amazing view over Flores and the lake. It was recently completely renovated and it is starting again after it had closed down during COVID. All the beds and linens were new and the place was very clean. The owner and Don Mario were super welcoming and flexible with my arrival and departure time, allowing me to stay a lot longer to accommodate my bus schedule. I spent a chill day sunbathing and swimming and slowly exploring the restaurants around for the meals. There are boats continuously connecting San Miguel to Flores so you don't miss out on what the island has to offer, but you have very resting sleep.

The place is wonderful. Some slight fit and finish issues like the shower leaking onto the floor, but overall, the place is absolutely beautiful. The bathroom is stunning, and the bed is comfortable. Erick is easy to deal with and welcoming, and so is his wife/girlfriend. The location is a little out of the way, but a tuk tuk is only 30qtz to the main strip
