Quirky country little find! ! We loved the ‘old’ house and the inside decor! But we absolutely loved the outdoor area…and of course the outdoor jacuzzi! The kitchen is fully equipped, complimentary teas & coffees. Wi-fi works perfect (for those who can’t do without). Very close to Zagreb & the airport…and walking distance to Terme Tuhelj….The World of Sauna is a must…The countryside is beautiful… 👍

our stay was exceptional. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful We loved our room and the spa. Very nice surprise was the 5-course.dinner. All courses at dinner and also the breakfast were wonderful, compliments to the chef!

The Hosts, Bozo and Stefan are two of the kindest, most genuine human beings we’ve ever met, their warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home, as if we were visiting old friends rather than meeting for the first time. They have a beautiful way of blending spirituality, nature, and hospitality into something magical that you can feel in every moment spent here. The property itself feels like a sanctuary. Surrounded by rolling green hills, it offers breathtaking sunsets, the kind that make you pause and savour the moment. They grow their own fresh vegetables, which adds to the wholesome and authentic feel of the stay. The connection to the land is palpable, making every moment feel like a gift. Adding to the charm, you’ll find three joyful border collies, a majestic horse named Freya, and two sweet cats. These animals create a sense of harmony between humans, nature, and the animals around you, making every day extra special. Whether you’re relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, connecting with the animals, or enjoying produce straight from the garden, this place is pure bliss. The views are spectacular and soul-resting, the kind of scenery that makes you breathe a little deeper and smile without realizing it. During our time in Croatia, Svetliraj was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Leaving was the hardest part, as we’re already missing it. We will absolutely be returning. Very, very, very good appartment. Perfectly for family with kids. Parking close to apartment. 10 minutes wolking to Aquae Vivae and food market.

The quiet and comfortable location of the accommodation. We were given detailed information about the area (where to eat, what to do, traffic suggestions...) before and upon our arrival. It was very easy to communicate with the landlords, despite the fact they spoke little English and I completely failed my German, but we got along great! 🙂👍 It's a great location for visiting many great sites in the area (neanderthal man museum, castles, vineyards ...) and the landscape is beautiful.
