We rented 4 rooms for 11 people + a dog, ages form 4 to 70+ and used the house as a base to explore the area. Everyone was comfortable, the bedrooms are quiet and the beds are great. Bathrooms modern, spotlessly clean. Kitchen and dining area well-equipped for simple cooking. The host went out of his way to look after us. We couldn't have asked for more and had a wonderful family weekend. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful castle and grounds. We stayed in a balcony room on the top floor - this had a large bathroom, bedroom, and semi separate sitting area (with a single bed if you had a third person). Room was comfortable, quiet and well equipt. We had 'half board' with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner was 4 courses set menu - very satisfying. Breakfast was a cold buffet and a hot meal (eggs/sausages etc) was made to order for each person. The food was good value for money. The grounds and the castle setting were magical. We enjoyed the walk around the lake. Highly recommend!

The house has everything needed and even more: awesome territory with big trampoline for children, a hill with panoramic view, and playroom with a lot of toys for children. There is a start of hiking trail nearby, recommended for bikes. Balaton is about 15 minutes by car.
