We originally planned to stay 14 nights… but ended up staying four and a half weeks – and even that wasn’t enough. Arirang Homestay is the kind of place where you arrive and instantly know: This feels like home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful location with views of the sea and the lush green valley is pure bliss. They ensure that the accommodation always looks better and better. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast, and whenever we needed anything, it was taken care of immediately – even arranging a scooter for us at a great price. But the most special thing? The staff are more than just friendly – they became family. We laughed together, shared stories, and even shed tears when it was time to say goodbye. We will absolutely be back – and once you’ve been here, you’ll understand why it’s so easy to fall in love with this place and its wonderful people. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a beautifully decorated bungalow-style room with a gorgeous shower area, comfortable bed, and a private patio. Everything was spotless. Plenty of towels for both in the room and for use at the pool/beach. The pool was a welcome treat. Breakfast was tasty and generous. There was a coffee/tea station and water provided. The location was quiet, and across the street from the Mangsit beach clubs/resorts which are open to non-guests. Direct access to the public beach is about 5 minute walk from Cozy Cottages. The family was very welcoming and accommodating. They arranged for my pick-up at the Senggigi jetty and for a driver for a tour at a very reasonable rate.
