What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. For me, that's the most important factor when choosing where to stay. The owner personally oversees everything, and every request was handled with care and warmth. It was the best service I've ever experienced. If you value a beautiful room with stunning views of the island, this is a must-visit. The pool was amazing — I ended up spending the entire day there, just soaking it all in. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have been in our trip in Indonesia. The hotel is surrounded by ricefields and the location is amazing, calm and peaceful. Rooms are cozy and clean. The staff is what has made this staying so great. They are so kind and friendly and they try to accomodate every requests. We did some tours with them and they have been really interesting!

The hostel is brand new (they opened in August 2023) with very good facilities. It’s the only hostel in te area, which makes your stay a really nice local experience. The beds are really comfortable and a little bigger than usual (in Indonesia). They provide towels and they serve good traditional food. The staff is extremely nice and always willing to help out!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Manigelang Villa. The staff was very friendly and very eager to meet the needs of the guests. The rooms were very cozily furnished, and the beds were also very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.

The cabin is in a lovely street which allowed us to observe the local peoples lives and to interact with them what we really loved. We could rent a scooter and go for dinner to a very good Warung, which our host recommended us with a beautiful view. The breakfast is served on the terrace of our room in front of the forest, really lovely. Everything was perfect for us!

It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt absolutely pampered and privileged. The accomodation (which in other places might have been marketed as 'luxury treehouse') is very well designed with great views. The endless amenities are of high quality. The complete barista station to brew your own locally sourced coffee is a great addition. The dinner was among the nicest we've had on Bali and the breakfast was impressive too. The jeep tour of the area and waterfalls was very enjoyable as well. I do recommend to spend more time here than we did, a minimum of two nights to fully appreciate this place.
