Beautiful homestay on Mansuar Island. Very comfortable and clean, above the typical homestay's standards of Raja Ampat. The bathrooms have running water, which is not something you can always expect in a homestay. The seaside restaurant offers a variety of plentiful dishes. The owner, Mario, is always available to arrange excursions and transfers. Thanks to him and his incredibly welcoming staff, we had an amazing stay.

It was the closest we have ever been to paradise. Andy and Esni are two amazing owners who make sure your stay is perfect how you like it. Their new dive shop is very professional and Roy and Julio are amazing dive guides. The breakfast containing eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes and fruits is super high in Raja Ampat standards. The other meals are also super fresh and tasty, and in 6nights we never ate the same. The rooms are idyllic and it is so peaceful over there. The dogs are super kind and joined us on our hikes to Sawandarek and Yenbuba. We were sad to leave, would love to come back one day!

The resort is beautiful, the water had different blue and green colors everyday, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. T The food that had taste of love, really we travel a lot and never saw a home made food SO great. The crew took us to the best dive spots we have ever been with security and the diver was super dedicated to give us good experience. Ramdhan helped us with everything we needed and more. We never wanted to live. Finally we will miss our cat friends Puri, Puti and the others. Good location, private bathroom, excelent bed, great food, nothing to worry but enjoy. Amazing snorkeling roght in front of the resort full of fish and colorfuk corals.

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

We had an amazing stay at Gibran guest house! The bungalows are amazing on top of the water, the area is full of incredible snorkeling spots, and the trip proposed are very nice with a lovely team ! Mimi & Julia are amazing :D

Very quiet location, still close enough to Arborek and to very good snorkeling spots to go with the tours. Two small villages pretty close to get to walking. The local reef is good enough and we snorkeled there almost every day more than once. We were also lucky enough to see one dugong in one of those times. The food is good, the room is spacious and comfortable, with a big bed and a nice outside deck. The shared bathrooms are basic but always pretty clean. The staff is very nice and friendly and Jonas was a great guy and guide in all our snorkeling tours. In all the snorkeling tours he was always looking for the best spot, checking the current and tirelessly checking for the best chance to see mantas, sharks or whatever underwater life we could see. Martijn was very helpful in answering all our questions and preparing everything. We ended up prolonging our stay. We would definitely recommend Methos homestay.
