Meyske and her mum looked after me and all the guests of the homestay as part of a family which sometimes sounds cliché but not in this case She managed to organise a tour for us to attend a funeral , whiteout her help it would be impossible to do by myself. I was there with my 3 months old baby girl. Her husband Mr. Daud offered a great 3 day tour for a very reasonable price. Anything we needed, they were there for us. Aldhi and his family are the best host, they really make you feel at home. Aldhi was really nice, he came to pick us up at the bus station at 4am, and he's a precious source of information for the Toraja land, he gave us a lot of reccomendations for places of interest and restaurant and he provided us with a scooter and a great guide (ask of Yuspan) for attending a Toraja funeral and visiting interesting places. ITS a little bit far from Rantepao but so quite and beautiful, the owners can rent you a motorcycle if you want. They Will take you and drop you off from the bus if you need.
