Beautiful old home on estate like grounds. Our hosts went over the top to make us feel welcome. Helping us after our GPS lost it's mind, hauling our suitcases up the stairs and providing many breakfast options.

The staff were great and the room very clean and pleasant, although my room was above the bar where a singer was performing until 11pm. I was really tired but couldn't sleep for the noise. The vegetarian menu was terribly disappointing. Three very unimaginitive items - lasagne or chickpea curry for £20 or a falafel salad for £22. My lasagne filling consisted of large pieces of broccoli and baby sweetcorn. It didn't feel fair to charge me £20 for this when meat eaters could have a large portion of chicken for the same price.

It’s a lovely old hotel with typical Irish hospitality, one member of our family has mobility problems and the receptionists were so helpful in changing our rooms to accommodate him, nothing was too much trouble and all with a lovely smile, the bar staff were friendly and the food was excellent, cannot say enough about this lovely hotel and it’s wonderful staff

Leisure centre was fantastic, bar staff and function room staff were professional and efficient. The food was good. The bedroom badly let the place down.
