Majella and Pat were so welcoming, and the house was absolutely perfect, so comfortable and warm and such lovely added details, like some homemade brown bread and porridge oats, milk, butter and jam in the fridge. We loved meeting the lovely dogs Millie and Bella! I would highly recommend this cottage to stay in for a peaceful break from the city, with really kind and welcoming hosts.

This is an exceptional property. Private and quiet with every little detail thought of. It is such a special place and if you want a taste of Ireland and a place to rest and take in the countryside it is perfect. A beautiful brook running through the woods, chickens, ducks and an apple orchard. It is idyllic. We couldn’t believe our luck to spend a night somewhere so beautiful.

The JEWEL this is just a godsend for those who love something unusual and we are really happy and thank all the staff for the emotions we received. We recommend 100% this unique place with an open spa area, a jacuzzi by the river and the river itself with the whisper of water and the singing of birds. Here you forget about time enjoying everything that is around.Very beautiful and quiet area, easy to get to even by public transport, the view from the windows of the mountains from the room is impressive, the rooms are very beautiful and spacious, large and very comfortable bed, pillows. Kitchen with everything you need and a fireplace where dinner and breakfast are even more pleasant with local high-quality eggs, bread and aromatic coffee 🥰Very clean, cozy, good energy and a pleasant smell of incense, everything is thought out to the smallest detail so that a person feels at home. We also recommend massages, especially with hot stones. Everything was just amazing from the beginning of the check-in to the last minute of departure. We are looking forward to returning soon and it is worth it more than once. Thank you for everything, see you soon, we already miss you 🤗🤩🙏♥️

What a stunning location, ocean views from atop a hill looking down on rolling green fields and the Atlantic Ocean below, with Bantry nestled in the distance. Wonderful hosts and accommodation at a converted farmhouse that is steeped in family history and character (one beautiful table in the dining area is polished dark wood over two hundred years old). The rooms are spotless and the bed was really comfortable. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and wind (way better than the Spotify soundscapes) and then could get up before brekky and take a walk down a path to view the coast. Brekky was delicious. You couldn’t ask for more welcoming hosts. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful cottage, colourful and fun! Designed to make you feel special and smile. Fun, quirky cheeky design from top to bottom. It's great to see old builders given new life.Private, covered over hot tub off the kitchen is a lovely treat. This was our second stay and I can guarantee there will be a third.

Beautiful house, so comfortable and plenty of space inside and outside. Everything you would need provided , Mary was excellent, asked for a high chair and it was there on arrival. The grandkids loved the walk through the woods to the beach.Mary was great for her local knowledge and recommendations, couldn't have been more helpful. Absolutely wonderful B&B in a lovely part of West Cork. Immaculate house and gardens, friendly dog, lovely family who share all the duties. Cold water in the room on arrival, maps and guides, and personal directions into Bantry to avoid a traffic jam. Comfiest bed and the best breakfast you could imagine (full Irish but other interesting options on the menu, too). There's even a chill-out sitting room next to the bedroom where you can get a coffee. Perfect. Thank you for having me!
