Lovely place to stay in the area. The check in was super uncomplicated, the owner explained how to get in and where the room is. I was travelling for work and had asked for the quietest room, which the owner took into consideration and the room I had was fantastic, with everything needed for a comfortable stay and spotlessly clean. Would certainly recommend when visiting the area.

Beautiful views,quietness lovely food and kind familiar atmosphere makes that you want to come back. Enjoy all the spots around in the garden, landscape is amazing you can watch full panorama sunsets as well as sunrises.If you are a bird watcher there is plenty to watch and listen to.If you are not install Merlin bird ID it’s fun to discover which birds you hear.It’s a beautiful place with respect for people and nature.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Our accommodation was neat and clean. There was off street parking. There was a full cooked breakfast served in the restaurant that was very good.

Refurbished in 2016, the Shandon Hotel & Spa is situated in the small village of Dunfanaghy and offers a wonderful views of the Sheephaven Bay and a luxury spa.

Such a beautiful hotel, old world elegance in a 20 year old modern building. It felt luxurious. The restaurant meals and included breakfast were delicious and high quality. The staff were welcoming, friendly and eager to help.
