The Callimore is a lovely pub. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional and presentation some of the best I saw in Ireland…. and with the exception of one young female server (who didn’t smile…. maybe she didn’t get much sleep the night before) the staff was friendly, helpful and super! I was a bit surprised that breakfast wasn’t included in the cost of the room

It was an idyllic place to explore coastal Dublin. And staff recommended many local treasures from swimming at the Forty Foot and other swim spots to restaurants, pubs and shoos. The hotel bikes are great.

What did I like? Honestly, everything! Feeling at home during a work trip is priceless, and that’s exactly how my stay was. Jacquie is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and well connected, the breakfast is fantastic, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin!

Breakfast was wonderful. I have stayed there before. I already know the area and brought my grandchildren to see where I grew up. There's so much to see and lots of memories for me. My only worry is as I get older the hill from Dalkey may be a challenge! Killiney Hill is a must visit with wonderful views.
