We were greeted by Irma when we arrived and given a choice of two beautiful rooms. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. She gave us some ideas on where to go for dinner. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic with a large variety of options.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The only drawback for such an excellent location was the lack of view (velux type roof windows.) The breakfast and lunches we had there were excellent and good value. The staff excelled and we're so welcoming. We look forward to staying again.

We stayed at this house near Sceine Bay for a family trip and absolutely loved it. The house really blew us away. If you love to cook, this place is a dream come true with all the kitchen gear you could ever need. We ended up making some great family meals right there, just enjoying the space and the amazing view. Another amazing thing about the house is all the books. No matter what you’re into, there’s something for everyone, from Joanne Harris and David Gemmell to Tolkien and more. The location is absolutely beautiful, tucked away in a really scenic part of the bay. We spent a lot of time just taking in the views or heading out to explore. There’s so much nearby to check out, like Helen’s Bar, Derreen Gardens, the town of Kenmare, and the Boathouse Restaurant. We never ran out of things to do or places to eat. Honestly, this house made our trip. It’s the perfect spot if you want to relax, cook great food, or just enjoy good books with family. We’re already talking about when we can go back here, we're regulars of Cork and Kerry. Highly recommend!

Everything! This is a beautiful and comfortable home away from home. Well equipped, spacious, warm, clean, with lots of attention to detail. David was extremely helpful and thoughtful, as well as interesting and charming, and very ready to act on any small problem, such as the coffee machine not working.     It was very clean, big room for family, with coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was super, you can choose Irish breakfast, panckakes for children or just yogurt, cheese... And the lady owner was nice and helpfull with information.

    The room was immaculately clean, the staff were exceptionally helpful with very nice suggestions by our waiter in the restaurant,the pool was great for the kids. The breakfast staff even came out with a pot of water to clear our cars frozen windscreen when we were leaving. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay...we'll be back! Thanks to all the staff who made our family break so enjoyable.

    We got in late after hours of driving and we found out the hotel has a night kids club (7-9). My husband and I enjoyed a really good dinner in a room with beautiful music! In the morning for breakfast my kids had a blast in the kids corner which was full of interesting toys and in the pool that had a slide. I would say for families this is the best hotel I have ever been into! Only 30 mins away from the ring of kerry.
