We spent a fantastic 2 nights here with our dog. The cabins are spotless, very cosy! The food in the restaurant was lovely, we ate in it both nights. The barman in particular was fantastic and we had him tortured with questions about his sheep!!! Felt like a real home from home, we thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to return!

The Carrick Gate is just an all round great place. Located on the river right in town. So clean, newly refurbished, comfortable and excellent Continental breakfast with loads of choices. We were the only ones there being winter so it was lovely and quiet. We booked late and had a bit of delay making phone contact for the key, but that was fixed up quickly for us. The accommodation is truly incredible, it's one of the best we've had in Ireland. It's spacious and bright, perfect for relaxing in the mountains; everything is brand new and includes very practical amenities like the air fryer.

This was our 2nd visit and this time we stayed 2 nights. Its a brilliant place to unwind and spend quality time together. You literally feel as though your on a different planet. Its so quiet and the views are breathtaking. The cabin itself had everything that we needed. We were happy to chill and watch movies all day then go a drive around the cliffs. Highly recommend!
