I liked the room which is spacious. As it was non AC but still it was ok with 2 ceiling fans. While booking there was some confusion with AC and nonAc though the owner gave me an option to upgrade without extra money but that's fine I already settled in the room by that time. The caretaker is such a good person. Very helpful and kind. Neat and clean room and also the entire balcony area.

This is the best place to visit Chidambaram! Very good location, nice and clean rooms, and the owners are so kind and they helped us with everything. I strongly recommend you this hostel.

Clean, spacious, gracious host, family place, walking distance to South Entrance of the Temple. has kitchen to make tea, coffee. very useful especially for family and with kids. 4 single beds which were clean and comfortable. certain comments mention bed bugs, mosquitos and other things like no bathtub or shower. frankly, those are nitpickers who have to find a fault with anything. what next no swimming pool, sauna etc.,? people come to Tillai to visit the temple or to take shower in a bathtub ? and no there were no bed bugs and doors/windows were kept closed, so no mosquitos either.
