Without any expectations i travelled to a budget friendly place, but the hospitality and food served for me was the best part, Anayan the care taker was awesome, owners of the resort always checks our comfort zone and kept me happy, so happy with the overall experience. Everything you read in the other reviews is true! To me, Vivek is the most helpful and kindest person I met in this trip and I won't forget him! he went out of his way to help me. As to the accomodation: The room is clean, the bed comfortable and although it's near the highway, it is quiet at night. I can warmly recommend Karippals Inn!

Everything was perfect. The host was super accomodating and helped us organising boat trips etc.He even gave us several rides with his private car as it was raining a lot. The location was super nice, kerala house style and very clean. It also had a museum and an antique shop in the same house.

The room is beautiful and clean with private outside space, the location is quiet (waking up with the sound of birds) and the surroundings are simply stunning (we came by bicycle from Kochin and enjoyed every minute of cycling around), communication with the owner is very pleasant, the host made us feel really welcome and at home. Risk warning: there is a chance of gaining weight, as the food is superb (and much).
