A perfect stay. Very nice ambience. Hosts are very nice, friendly and they guided us very well. We felt like home.The main thing is food prepared by the host are very nice and healthy, they give preference bro your likes and dislikes. It was like staying at a homestay but with the facilities of a great hotel. The staff are like one big family - nothing was too much trouble for them. The huge window out to the balcony and the incredible view (even with the haze hiding most of the mountains). They really catered for our vegetarian diet, serving dishes that weren’t on the menu so we still got varied offerings (try the riltok soup - it’s incredible!). Close enough to drop into kalimpong easily but down a dead end road so absolutely peaceful and totally silent at night - bliss! We walked straight out of the hotel and down into the forest for a beautiful trek.

Beautiful property with great views and the amazing TAJ hospitality. They called us three times to check what time we would be landing at the airport, to help us with route guidance and just to check if everything was ok. Right from the time you check in till the time you check out, they take care of your every requirement with a smile. The rooms are spacious and elegantly done and the balcony is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to birdsong. It was our anniversary the day we checked in and they had decorated the room with balloons and kept a delicious cake for us as well. Food here is absolutely DELICIOUS and everything is served with a warm smile. Special shoutout to Dipesh at Mynt who is so friendly and charming, and who was always helpful with recommendations, whether it was food or places to visit. It felt like he truly believes that “Atithi devo bhavah” and makes all guests feel so special and cared for. Mingma is another lady who deserves special mention.

This is a special property that gives a feel of a bygone era. The rooms, my bedroom and public rooms all are done in "traditional" classic style and done with great attention to detail. And the grounds sitting out on the lawn sipping tea and looking out over the green mountains is so relaxing. I loved this property and would absolutely return again. The manager Manooch (spelling?) was hands on very personable making sure I was happy with all.
