- Perfect location in a not very busy are of Varkala, close to beautiful cliffs - Access to the beach was very easy from the resort - Resort is front beach and you can hear the sound of the sea - Comfortable bed, spacious and well eqquiped rooms, everything clean - Amazing staff and owner. I had a wonderful stay at Kallayi Beachside Retreat. The location is calm, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway by the beach. The rooms are very pretty - best room and bathroom we had in India. The hosts and staff are really nice. They help you with everything you need. There is a good breakfast with fruit salad, juice, curry & omlette available. The location is also quite nice. From the homestay it just takes a two minute walk to Edava Beach (not crowded and clean). It is possible to rent Scooters if you want to go to Varkala - round about 10min ride (we rented one for the whole week and needed it everyday to go out for dinner and coffee or to go to Varkala).
