An absolute hidden gem in North Kerela. Literally had a pristine private paradise beach all to myself, for normal guest house prices. Staff were always available, and helped with everything, from food to transport, even sorting out a once in a lifetime trip to see the Theyamm rituals. This is the real unspoilt India, away from the usual tourist traps - come if you want a quiet, peaceful and authentic experience, but please just don't tell everyone!

Our stay was very nice. The location is just perfect: not even 30 seconds to reach the most beautiful, serene beach. The room is spacious, very clean, and with good facilities (veranda, clothes hanging line, table and chair, outdoors shower to get rid of sand). The host was also very nice to us, and so was the young guy working there. The breakfast is delicious too, with many local items :)

The property is an authentic, old antique house with great energy. It's located close to the beach, and watching the sunset from the nearby cliff was truly amazing. The host was very helpful, and the owner is kind, responsive, and ensures you are well taken care of from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kannur who is looking for a peaceful stay and a chance to experience living in a traditional, authentic home.
